Core Values is an initiative that aims to offer a universal perspective on the transmission of values in the digital age.
Each year, the project brings together companies, businesses, and leaders in technology and communication to create new perspectives towards a new balance between the digital revolution, ethical dimensions and entrepreneurial dynamics.
The Earth Charter asked us to leave behind a period of self-destruction and make a new start, but we have not as yet developed a universal awareness needed to achieve this. Here, I would echo that courageous challenge:

The Secretariat for Communications has been established in June of 2015 as the result of the new reform in communications of the Apostolic See and responds to the communicational context characterized by the presence and development of digital media and by the process of converging and interactivity. It is a non-profit association established in order to favor and foster the spreading of culture through modern technologies, by appreciating the historical patrimony of the Church.
From 2017 onwards Core Values intends to bring its themes to the attention of local communities by organizing events, in certain selected cities, which will involve local representatives of the Church, of the business and of the culture worlds.
On this occasion one of the first Core Values’ tangible outcomes, Father Philip Larrey’s book “Connected World” will be presented. The Author converses with the industry’s leaders in order to figure out how technology is shaping the inner fabric of our society.
